What are Namma Metro timings?
Purple and Green Line trains start at 05:00 Tuesday to Saturday (04:15 on Mondays, 07:00 on Sundays and holidays) and the last trains leave the terminals at 23:05. The Yellow Line starts at 06:00 (05:05 Monday, 07:00 Sunday) and runs until 23:55.
How often do Namma Metro trains run?
Purple and Green Lines run every 8 minutes in peak hours (07:00–10:00 and 17:00–21:00) and every 10–15 minutes off-peak. The Yellow Line runs every 9–10 minutes in peak and 14–20 minutes off-peak.
What is the Namma Metro fare?
Fares are distance-based, from ₹10 for up to 2 km to a maximum of ₹90. Smart-card and Namma Metro app users get about 10% off token fares; the discount is higher off-peak and on Sundays.
Where do I change lines?
Majestic (Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Station) connects the Purple and Green Lines: allow about 5 minutes to walk between platforms 1–2 (Purple) and 3–4 (Green). RV Road connects the Green and Yellow Lines with a 3-minute change to platform 3.
Which metro station is closest to Kempegowda Bus Station?
Majestic metro station opens directly onto Kempegowda Bus Station and KSR City Railway Station. Mysuru Road station serves the Mysuru Road Satellite Bus Stand, and Kengeri Bus Terminal station serves the Kengeri TTMC.
Does the metro go to Kempegowda International Airport?
Not yet. The Blue Line to the airport is under construction. Until it opens, use BMTC Vayu Vajra buses (KIA-5, KIA-9 from Majestic) or the Metro-to-airport shuttle from Hebbal.
