What Ask Bengaluru does
Ask Bengaluru indexes 41,946 scheduled KSRTC departures from 137 bus stands, derives 2,133 stand-to-town route timetables from them, and adds curated guides for the busiest corridors, KSRTC booking and BMTC city buses in Bengaluru. Everything is free and needs no sign-up.
Where the data comes from
KSRTC divisions publish bus-stand-wise departure sheets, the same timetables displayed at the enquiry counter. We collect those sheets, normalise the many spellings of the same town (Bengalore, Bangalore and Bengaluru become one place) and rebuild them as searchable pages. The last refresh was on 2026-09-24.
Fares on route guides are compiled from KSRTC reservation listings and are indicative. BMTC does not publish a machine-readable timetable, so BMTC route pages carry curated first-bus, last-bus and frequency figures marked as indicative.
What we are not
Ask Bengaluru is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated on behalf of KSRTC, BMTC or the Government of Karnataka. We do not sell tickets; reservations are made on ksrtc.in or the KSRTC AWATAR app.
