Frequently asked questions
How are the route timetables generated?
Each stand-to-town page is built from the departure sheet of that bus stand: every row whose destination matches the town, sorted by departure time. Spelling variants such as Bengalore, Bangalore and Bengaluru are merged.
Why does a route guide show a fare range?
KSRTC fares vary by bus class. Karnataka Sarige and Ashwamedha are the cheapest, Rajahamsa sits in the middle, and Airavat Club Class, Ambaari Dream Class and Ambaari Utsav sleepers are the premium tiers. Fares are revised periodically, so treat them as indicative.
Can I compare arrival times?
The curated route guides include arrival times and journey durations for sample services. Stand timetables publish departures only, so route pages built from them show departure times.
