How to check live BMTC bus timings

  1. Open the Namma BMTC app and allow location access.
  2. Search by route number (for example 500D) or by your stop name.
  3. The app shows buses currently on the route and their expected arrival at your stop.
  4. Buy a ticket or pass in-app, or pay the conductor with cash or UPI.

What is the first and last Vayu Vajra bus to Kempegowda Airport?

The Majestic routes (KIA-5 and KIA-9) run round the clock with a departure roughly every 20–30 minutes. Suburban airport routes such as KIA-8 (Electronic City) and KIA-4 (Whitefield) generally start around 3 AM and finish by 11 PM. Confirm the exact trip in the Namma BMTC app.

How much is the BMTC airport bus fare?

Vayu Vajra fares are distance-based and range roughly from ₹150 to ₹350 one way. Tickets can be bought from the conductor, via the Namma BMTC app or with the Tummoc app.

Is BMTC free for women?

Yes. Under the Karnataka Government's Shakti scheme, women residents of Karnataka travel free on ordinary (non-premium) BMTC buses on showing a valid ID. Vayu Vajra and Vajra AC services are excluded.

Which BMTC pass should I buy?

Daily passes cover unlimited ordinary travel for the day; monthly passes are cheaper for regular commuters. AC Vajra and Vayu Vajra services need their own pass categories. Buy passes in the app or at TTMC counters.
